Robust Material and ConstructionBuilt with ASTM A352 LCC carbon steel, this gate valve provides high strength and resistance to low-temperature brittleness. The anti-corrosive paint and metal-to-metal sealing enhance operational life and reliability, making it ideal for harsh industrial conditions.
Versatile OperationDesigned for manual actuation with a round hand wheel, the valve features a non-rising stem for confined installations. Its straight shape and flanged end connections conform to ASME standards for secure and easy integration into existing pipelines.
Wide Application RangeThis valve is suitable for water, oil, gas, and steam services, meeting the demands of refineries, process plants, and utility systems. With a wide port size range and compatibility with extreme working temperatures and pressures, it's a comprehensive solution for diverse industry needs.
FAQ's of SQK A352 LCC Carbon Steel Gate Valve:
Q: How is the SQK A352 LCC Gate Valve operated and installed?
A: The valve is manually operated using a round hand wheel, which controls the gate position for flow regulation. It features flanged ends as per ASME B16.5, simplifying installation into pipeline systems with compatible standards.
Q: What media and temperature ranges can this gate valve handle?
A: This gate valve can be used for water, oil, gas, and steam, functioning efficiently within temperatures from -46C to 345C. Such versatility allows safe operation in both cryogenic and high-temperature applications.
Q: Where is the SQK A352 LCC Carbon Steel Gate Valve typically used?
A: It is commonly applied in industrial sectors, including oil and gas, petrochemical plants, and water utilities, where reliable shut-off and flow control are essential for system integrity.
Q: What benefits does a non-rising stem design offer?
A: The non-rising stem design keeps the hand wheel height constant during operation, making it suitable for installations with limited vertical space or overhead constraints.
Q: How is the sealing achieved in this gate valve?
A: Sealing is metal-to-metal, ensuring durability and leak-tight performance even in demanding environments. Graphite packing is used for additional sealing around the stem, enhancing reliability and safety.
Q: What size and pressure ratings are available for this valve?
A: The valve is offered in port sizes ranging from DN50 to DN600 (2" to 24") and supports pressure classes from Class 150 to 600 (PN16 to PN100), catering to varied system requirements.
